Introduction
You can receive tourist information in English, Japanese and Chinese either via a tourism interpreter or by calling the 1330 tourist information hotline. Tourism information offices and brochures are prepared to help you get complete information at any time, at any place. There are expert commentators who will satisfy your curiosity with in-depth knowledge on major cultural and historic sites in their respective regions.
Cultural and Historic Sites
There are expert commentators in place to enriched and accurate explanations on the region’s major cultural and historic sites. Cultural tourism commentators, who are available from February to December, are stationed to provide support for tour groups on a reservation basis only. In case that there is a request for a commentator outside of this period, its feasibility will be reviewed first and then a commentator will be provided. Applications can be made to the Chungbuk Tourist Information Center.
Tourist Information Hotline
- If you need information on tourism, interpreters, events and phone numbers, just dial 1330 from anywhere in Korea (when using a mobile phone, you need to enter the area code before 1330). The tourist information hotline will provide all sorts of information for international tourists.
